My music takes on the characteristics of my home by the Atlantic Ocean, which is spatially dynamic, wild and moody. colour and timbre both play a crucial role in my sound and I use these to create mood, emotion and energy. I do this with a variety of instruments such as: Synths, Samplers, acoustic instruments and electronic instruments. And I apply a wide range of production techniques to get a desired effect. My practice encompasses elements of music composition, sound design, field recording, songwriting and music production. All these are combined in the efforts to find new ways of expressing ideas with sound.
Jacks is a music producer who trained at the University of Brighton on the Digital Music & Sound Art course. His music is a fusion and collection of genres such as rock, hip-hop, ambience, experimental and electronic music.
